Peer review webinar for emerging and established researchers Online
This webinar introduces the fundamentals of peer review, highlighting its purpose, ethical responsibilities, and evolving models. Participants will gain insight into the distinct roles of reviewers and editors, learn to identify common pitfalls and misconduct in the review process, and explore how peer review practices are adapting to address scholarly and community concerns.
Webinar Objectives
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand the purpose of peer review and distinguish between the roles of reviewers and editors.
- Identify common challenges and ethical responsibilities in the peer review process.
- Recognize what constitutes misconduct in peer review and what is expected of reviewers.
