Empowering Communities: The role of Literacy in South African multilingual landscape Online

Join the NWU Library and Information Service (LIS) in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanites for a dynamic one-day virtual seminar exploring Literacy from a South African perspective, in celebration of International Literacy Day. Under the theme "Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace," this seminar aims to delve into the crucial role of  literacy in fostering cross-cultural understanding and promoting peace through multilingual education. Participants will engage in presentations from various institutions, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities.
