WARIMA: Transforming academic knowledge and output to measurable research impact In-Person / Online

Overview

The research and innovation environment is extremely competitive. It is also increasingly required from universities and research and innovation organisations to report on the outcome of their research, not only as it translates into policy and practice, but also how the research promotes socio-economic impact. It is pertinent for research and innovation managers to ensure that the research outputs and outcomes of the organisation are optimal and lead to quantifiable impact. Thus, the need to strengthen the capacity of managers and administrators to support researchers in knowledge translation procedures and processes for identification, development, and recording/reporting of research impact is evident.

We are pleased to announce a hybrid workshop on ‘Transforming academic knowledge and output to measurable research impact’ planned to kick off the Community of Practice of Research Output, Outcome and Impact (COP-ROOI) 2025 events under the theme of ‘Transforming research output, and measuring research impact’. The COP-ROOI seeks to develop social capital, nurture new knowledge, stimulate innovation, and share knowledge on managing research output and impact.
