SUMMARY:Comprehensive Training for Research Ethics Committee members  and Administrators
DESCRIPTION:This training aims to equip Research Ethics Administrators and 
 Committee Members with a deep understanding of ethical principles\, 
 historical context\, decision-making frameworks\, and regulatory guidelines 
 in human and health research. Participants will gain the skills needed to 
 oversee ethical governance\, address dilemmas\, and ensure compliance with 
 research ethics standards.\n\nWorkshop Objectives:\n1.    To understand 
 core ethical principles (autonomy\, beneficence\, non-maleficence\, and 
 justice) in human and health research.\n2.    To explore past incidents and 
 ethical challenges that have shaped current research ethics guidelines and 
 laws.\n3.    To apply ethical decision-making frameworks (Principlism\, 
 Deontology\, and Consequentialism) in addressing ethical challenges in 
 research.\n4.    To identify ethical implications in various research 
 designs and the key components of research protocols.\n5.    To recognize 
 the role and responsibilities of Research Ethics Committees (RECs) in 
 ethical governance and evaluation.\n\n6. To interpret regulatory and 
 legislative frameworks at national and international levels to ensure 
 compliance with human and health research ethics.
