The Lancet Group is proud to announce the launch of its newest regional journal:
The Lancet Regional Health – Africa
Set to publish its first issue in early 2026, the journal is open for new submissions. It will spotlight groundbreaking research from across the African continent, amplifying voices and innovations that shape the future of health.
As part of our launch activities, we’re connecting with academic institutions in South Africa. We invite researchers, scholars, and postgraduate students from all Health Science disciplines at North-West University to join us for an engaging session that includes:
• Presentation: Learn about the journal’s vision, scope, and publishing opportunities
• Q&A: Ask questions and explore how your work can contribute
• Networking: Connect informally with members of The Lancet team and fellow researchers
