Africa Day Celebration In-Person / Online

Africa Day serves as a powerful reminder of the continent’s rich cultural diversity, linguistic heritage, and the importance of preserving indigenous knowledge systems. To celebrate this year’s Africa Day, the NWU Library and Information Service, in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, will host a culturally immersive event themed Aforika bua: puo le poko.” This event aims to highlight the essential role of language, literature, and community-based publishing in nurturing African identity and expression.
