It is a component of the Author Engagement Programme, which is organized through the collaboration between Wiley and the South African National Library and Information Consortium. About speakers:

Karen Grimmers is a Professor at Flinders University in Australia, as well as a Professor Emerita at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University.

Dr. Carolyn Chisadza is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Pretoria. Additionally, she holds the position of Associate Professor in Economics at the same institution. Dr. Chisadza obtained her Ph.D. in Economics and her research interests encompass economic growth and development, particularly focusing on inequality, institutions, and conflict within Africa. Her scholarly work has been published in esteemed academic journals such as Economics Letters, the Journal of Development Studies, and Environment, Development, and Sustainability, among others. Currently, she serves as an AfOx (Africa Oxford Initiative) visiting research fellow at the University of Oxford, where she is engaged in research pertaining to societal frictions.
