Vanderbijlpark Library Rooms
- DO NOT BOOK A ROOM THAT IS NOT IN YOUR YEAR CATEGORY, WE WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH THE KEYS TO THE ROOM AND WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE ROOM. e.g. Undergraduate students do not book the postgraduate student rooms and vice versa. If you are a repeat offender we will block your account.
- These rooms are to be used for group discussions by NWU students and staff.
- The room may only be used for academic purposes. It may not be used for political meetings, trade union meetings, church gatherings, or scheduled lectures.
- Library staff can ask for your email notification as confirmation of booking.
Vanderbijlpark, Learning and Research Commons, Building A14
- These rooms are to be used for group discussions and presentations by Masters, PhD students, and academic staff of the NWU only.
- You may only book four hours per day. Only one booking per group per day is allowed.
- The room may only be used for academic purposes. It may not be used for political meetings, trade union meetings, church gatherings, or scheduled lectures.
- NOTE: Please arrange with Maropene Ramabina (+27 (0)16 910 3042) or Dannyboy Moloto (+27 (0)16 910 3172) to activate your student card to open the room. If you need to use the Library laptop, please book it by calling Maropene, Dannyboy, or Malose. The keys to the projector cabinet may also be obtained from them.
- Staff can ask for your email notification as confirmation of booking.
- The staff can cancel your slot if keys are not collected 15 minutes after the booking time has started. The room can then be reserved for another user on demand.
